It was an absolute joy to work with Nick Stath on my Love, Death + Robots Vol. 4 episode, “For He Can Creep”.

Nick helped us solve the extensive world-building and visual storytelling in “For He Can Creep”, in particular helping us define the 18th century Gothic aesthetic of the world and the cross-hatching look of the episode. There was no environment in the episode that Nick did not play a major role in designing, from an 18th century Asylum to a celestial moonlit view of London to a supernatural tunnel for an invisible cat.

Nick has the ability to make every environment and world he designs feel lived in and unique. He has an innate understanding of visual storytelling and elevates any project to the next level. Nick’s thoughtful approach to research, design, and collaboration put him head and shoulders above others in the industry.

Nick is truly a first class creative and I hope to work with him again soon!

It was such a privilege to work with Nick Stath, whose talent is unmatched when it comes to conceptual art, especially in the Alien universe. He was up for any challenge and the outcome was better than I could have hoped on the sets he designed. His artwork is inspiring to say the least and anyone would be lucky to have him onboard as he brings an original and fresh take to all of his designs.

Nick brings so much to the table when it comes to high-concept architecture design. A lot of people in the business of concept art has awesome executional skills, but what Nick has to offer is quite rare. He has deep understanding of how architecture works, it's history and function. Needless to say he has a formal training as architect and loves the subject . This background allows him to do a thoughtful research on a subject and makes his designs bold, yet believable. Nick also has great presentational skills and understand what good presentation is. I strongly recommend Nick for any architecture-related concept design projects whether in film or games.
